Lactation Interaction Fovas 10mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Expert Advice You may get a dry cough while using Fovas. Report to your doctor if there is a persistent cough. Fovas may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli. Inform your doctor immediately if you have rapid swelling of the lips, tongue, and throat that may affect breathing. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding. You shouldn’t take Fovas if you’re pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Fovas may cause birth defects or be fatal to your unborn baby.
Common Side Effect Decreased blood pressure, Cough, Increased potassium level in blood, Fatigue, Weakness, Dizziness, Renal impairment.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Fovas 10mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Driving Dizziness or weakness due to low blood pressure may occur in some patients while on Fovas 10mg Tablet. If you are affected in this way, your ability to drive may be impaired.
Kidney Fovas 10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Fovas 10mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for better dose adjustment.
Liver Fovas 10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Fovas 10mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Fovas 10mg Tablet is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.
