| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Fastorik Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs. |
| Driving | Fastorik Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.Caution is advised when driving or operating machinery. |
| Kidney | Fastorik Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Fastorik Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Fastorik Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. |

| Mechanism of action | Fastorik Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol, pseudoephedrine and triprolidine which relieve cold symptoms. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Pseudoephedrine is a nasal decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Triprolidine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. |
