Sensitivity in the teeth may indicate a serious problem that may need prompt care by a dentist. Common Side Effect Collapse, Convulsion, Cyanosis (bluish discoloration of the skin), Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Gastrointestinal discomfort, Headache, Altered heart rate, Decreased blood pressure, Methemoglobinaemia (presence of methaemoglobin in the blood), Vertigo.
