Alchohol Interaction Ebast-M Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Lactation Interaction No information is available on the use of Ebast-M Tablet during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
Common Side Effect Nausea, Diarrhoea, Dryness in mouth, Vomiting, Skin rash, Headache, Drowsiness, Flu-like symptoms.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ebast-M Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Ebast-M Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Kidney There is limited information available on the use of Ebast-M Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Ebast-M Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ebast-M Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Limited information is available on the use of Ebast-M Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
Mechanism of action Ebast-M Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ebastine and Montelukast which treat sneezing and runny nose due to allergies. Ebastine is an antiallergic which blocks the action a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of another chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose, and improves symptoms.
