Alchohol Interaction Taking Erthromycin with alcohol may cause minor drug interactions which may not be clinically relevant in all patients.
Pregnancy Interaction EB 333mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction EB 333mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
Expert Advice Eb will cure your infection and improve symptoms. It may cause an upset stomach. If this happens to you, take it with food. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Eb.

Kidney EB 333mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of EB 333mg Tablet is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease as the use of this medicine may affect hearing in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver EB 333mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of EB 333mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of this medicine in liver disease patients can cause hearing loss.
Mechanism of action EB 333mg Tablet is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
