Lactation Interaction Doxivent LB Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect Diarrhoea, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach pain, Photosensitivity.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Doxivent LB Capsule is to be taken with food.
Driving Doxivent LB Capsule may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.Visual disturbances such as blurring of vision may occur during treatment with doxycycline.
Kidney There is limited information available on the use of Doxivent LB Capsule in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Doxivent LB Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Doxivent LB Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Doxivent LB Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Doxycycline and Lactobacillus. Doxycycline is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
