Lactation Interaction Domperon Plus 10 mg/500 mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Common Side Effect Dryness in mouth.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Domperon Plus 10 mg/500 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Driving Domperon Plus 10 mg/500 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney Domperon Plus 10 mg/500 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Domperon Plus 10 mg/500 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Domperon Plus 10 mg/500 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Domperon Plus 10 mg/500 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, the use of Domperon Plus 10 mg/500 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
Mechanism of action Domperon Plus 10 mg/500 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: domperidone and paracetamol. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain.
