Pregnancy Interaction Darilong 7.5mg Tablet CR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Darilong 7.5mg Tablet CR is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Expert Advice Reduces abnormal contractions of bladder. Can take up to 4 weeks before you see an improvement in your symptoms. Helpful in men with urinary symptoms caused by enlarged prostate. Avoid caffeine, alcohol or carbonated drinks as they can worsen your symptoms. Side effects are mild and usually include dry mouth and eyes, constipation, difficulty urinating, blurred vision and sleepiness.
Common Side Effect Dryness in mouth, Nausea, Constipation, Dyspepsia, Abdominal pain, Blurred vision.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Darilong 7.5mg Tablet CR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Darilong 7.5mg Tablet CR may cause effects such as dizziness, blurred vision, trouble sleeping or drowsiness. This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney Darilong 7.5mg Tablet CR is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Darilong 7.5mg Tablet CR is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Liver Darilong 7.5mg Tablet CR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Darilong 7.5mg Tablet CR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Darilong 7.5mg Tablet CR is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
Mechanism of action Darilong 7.5mg Tablet CR is an antimuscarinic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder and prevents frequent, urgent or uncontrolled urination.
