How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Daonil-M Tablet SR is to be taken with food.This medicine may cause stomach upset if taken empty stomach. |
Driving | Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is low or high. If this happens, do not drive. |

Liver | Daonil-M Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Daonil-M Tablet SR may be needed. Mechanism of action | Daonil-M Tablet SR is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Glibenclamide and Metformin. Glibenclamide is a sulfonylurea which works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower the blood glucose. Metformin is a biguanide which works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from intestines and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin. |
