Mechanism of action Curecold Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Pseudoephedrine, Cetirizine and Nimesulide which relieve common cold symptoms. Pseudoephedrine is a nasal decongestant. It narrows the small blood vessels, which provide temporary relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) and relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
