Lactation Interaction Cortiflaz 6mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Expert Advice Take with food to avoid an upset stomach. Dose is decreased or tapered over time. Most side effects occur with high doses and on long-term use. Your risk of getting an infection may become higher. Tell your doctor immediately if you have a fever, flu-like symptoms, cough, painful urination, or a wound that does not heal.
Common Side Effect Electrolyte imbalance, Redistribution/accumulation of body fat, Bone degradation, Increased risk of infection, Muscle disorders, Increased blood pressure, Altered bone growth, Behavioural changes, Increased glucose level in blood, Cataract, Skin scar.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cortiflaz 6mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Cortiflaz 6mg Tablet with salad and vegetable diet.
Driving Cortiflaz 6mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Cortiflaz 6mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Cortiflaz 6mg Tablet is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease.
Liver Cortiflaz 6mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Cortiflaz 6mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Limited information is available on the use of Cortiflaz 6mg Tablet in these patients.
