Lactation Interaction Cobese 120mg Capsule is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Expert Advice Safe for long-term use. If taken along with a calorie restricted diet, Cobese can help decrease nearly 10% of body weight in 1 year. Decreases fat absorption by about 30%. Take during or up to 1 hour after meal. Skip dose if you miss a meal or if your meal contains no fat. A multivitamin supplement containing vitamins A, D, and K, and β-carotene is recommended when taking Cobese.
Common Side Effect Abdominal pain, Fat in stool , Bowel incontinence, Flatus with discharge, Oily spotting, Diarrhoea, Abdominal cramp, Flatulence, Soft stools.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cobese 120mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Cobese 120mg Capsule with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.
Driving Cobese 120mg Capsule does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Cobese 120mg Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cobese 120mg Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.Use of this medicine may be associated with the formation of kidney stones in patients with underlying kidney disease.
Liver Cobese 120mg Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cobese 120mg Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Cobese 120mg Capsule is a lipase inhibitor. It works in the stomach and small intestine by blocking the absorption of fat from food by blocking enzymes responsible for the breakdown of fat.
