Lactation Interaction Closone G Ointment is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Common Side Effect Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness).
How to Use This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
Driving Closone G Ointment may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Closone G Ointment should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Closone G Ointment may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Mechanism of action Closone G Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Clobetasone and Gentamicin which treat skin infections. Clobetasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Gentamicin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
