How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. CITIFLO M TABLET may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving It is not known whether CITIFLO M TABLET alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney There is limited information available on the use of CITIFLO M TABLET in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver There is limited information available on the use of CITIFLO M TABLET in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action CITIFLO M TABLET is a combination of two medicines: citicoline and methylcobalamin. Citicoline is a nerve protecting medicine. It works on the brain by nourishing the nerve cells, protects them from damage and improves their survival. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B. It works by lowering the levels of homocysteine, a harmful protein which increases blood clot formation and damages blood vessels in the brain.
