Alchohol Interaction Taking aceclofenac with alcohol may increase risk of stomach bleeding.
Pregnancy Interaction Celfast Tablet MR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction No information is available on the use of Celfast Tablet MR during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
Expert Advice It should be taken with food or milk to avoid getting an upset stomach. It can cause serious complications like stomach bleeding and kidney problems if taken for a long time. Celfast can raise a risk of blood clots, heart attack, or a stroke. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems.

How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Celfast Tablet MR is to be taken with food.
Driving Celfast Tablet MR may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney Celfast Tablet MR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Celfast Tablet MR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Celfast Tablet MR is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Celfast Tablet MR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Celfast Tablet MR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Celfast Tablet MR is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is advisable while the patient is taking this medicine.
Mechanism of action Celfast Tablet MR is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by suppressing the production of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause inflammation (redness and swelling), fever and pain.
