| Common Side Effect | Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Loss of appetite, Indigestion, Flatulence. |
| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cefitaxe AZ Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. |
| Driving | Cefitaxe AZ Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive. |
| Kidney | Cefitaxe AZ Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cefitaxe AZ Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. |

| Mechanism of action | Cefitaxe AZ Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefixime and Azithromycin. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. |
