Alchohol Interaction Carbadac 200mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy Interaction Carbadac 200mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Carbadac 200mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Common Side Effect Skin rash, Nausea, Vomiting, Sleepiness, Dizziness, Fatigue, Coordination impaired, Decreased white blood cell count.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Carbadac 200mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Carbadac 200mg Tablet can make you feel dizzy or drowsy especially at the start of treatment. If you are affected in this way, or if your eyesight is affected, you should not drive.
Kidney Carbadac 200mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Carbadac 200mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Carbadac 200mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Carbadac 200mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Carbadac 200mg Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
