Alchohol Interaction Taking Thiocolchicoside+Aceclofenac+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Pregnancy Interaction Canefo TH Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction No information is available on the use of Canefo TH Tablet during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
Common Side Effect Nausea, Vomiting, Heartburn, Stomach pain, Diarrhoea, Loss of appetite, Dryness in mouth.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Canefo TH Tablet is to be taken with food.This will help to avoid acidity and heartburn.
Driving Canefo TH Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Canefo TH Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Canefo TH Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Canefo TH Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Canefo TH Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Canefo TH Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, the use of Canefo TH Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
Mechanism of action Canefo TH Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Thiocolchicoside, Aceclofenac and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever.
