How to Use This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.
Driving Candid Ear Drop does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Candid Ear Drop should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Candid Ear Drop may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Candid Ear Drop should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Candid Ear Drop may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Candid Ear Drop is a combination of two medicines: Lidocaine and Clotrimazole which treat ear infections. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic which works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to the brain thereby decreasing the sensation of pain. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.
