Lactation Interaction Betafoam 0.1mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Expert Advice Take with food to avoid an upset stomach. Dose is decreased or tapered over time. Most side effects occur with high doses and on long-term use. Your risk of getting an infection may become higher. Tell your doctor immediately if you have a fever, flu-like symptoms, cough, painful urination, or a wound that does not heal.
Common Side Effect Electrolyte imbalance, Redistribution/accumulation of body fat, Bone degradation, Increased risk of infection, Muscle disorders, Increased blood pressure, Altered bone growth, Skin scar, Behavioural changes, Cataract, Increased glucose level in blood.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Betafoam 0.1mg Tablet is to be taken with food.Avoid Betafoam 0.1mg Tablet with dietary sodium.
Driving Betafoam 0.1mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Betafoam 0.1mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Betafoam 0.1mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of kidney function test may be advised while you are taking this medicine.
Liver There is limited information available on the use of Betafoam 0.1mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
